Keep in mind, super intelligent AI is an absolute inevitability assuming we don't go extinct before we make it (unlikely). There will also absolutely be malicious AI. Fortunately, there will be tons more good AI. It will be necessary pretty much from now on to have AI systems countering other AI systems. A much more complex version of the same virus/antivirus war that has been going since the internet started. Horrible things will happen and it will be a mess, but if we likely won't go extinct, and the people who do survive will have opportunities beyond our wildest dreams, and ridiculously soon.
