At some point AI will design robots to build other robots and do all the work. AI the brains, robots the muscles. It will all require lots of resources and energy. 90% of people will considered a drain on thise resources and energy and AI will decide that it is best to get rid of 90% of the population and only allow those that are usefull to live.Not like in ‘ the Terminator’ but more like a deadly virus that allows infrastrucure and buildings to remain intact. Meanwhile we are all sleepwaking into this and nithing gets done to avoid it. I wonder why….maybe because the decisions being made are from people who believe they will be in the surviving 5-10%. ?
