The creative space, I feel, has always had this or at least a similar problem. Gen AI has just made it more amplified. People used to rip each other off left, right and center, tracing over stuff, or just copying the entire thing and cropping out the signature. You see a similar thing in the maker space, since 3D-printing has become so popular. People ripping off designs, printing a bunch and then selling them at local markets.
