I had come to this video hoping for an intelligent takedown of the AI bubble but NDT’s conflation of LLMs with traditional programming and his assertion that tech billionaires will suddenly stop pursuing AGI because he doesn’t think it will be useful makes realize that even the smartest people out there lose touch and stop understanding the modern world at a certain age. I was already pretty disappointed by him shilling for TikTok - a platform that is obliterating attention spans at an alarming rate.
