AI isn't "taking people's jobs"... What's happening is money is being put into AI because it seems to have good returns (it doesn't, it cannot make a profit and is a bubble built on speculative valuations). Because of this, there's no money for non-AI projects. Good look if you are a small startup and you want funding and you're not AI, good look if you are a games studio, good look if you are even a large company that doesn't have much liquidity/cash flow for a project.
