In one way, all of this discussion is beside the point. The point being, that humans themselves are going to change, and not for the better. Already, tech is making people less intelligent. Professors are complaining that their students can't read, can't write and can't think critically. AI will accelerate this process until it turns the majority of humans into idiots.
