Oh my sweet summer child, you haven't seen enough Ai art images. Literally the most common AI slop characters have very dramatic expressions and looks to them. It builds off of pre-existing works, so this is hardly a surprise though. This video was made a year ago, so I can't fault you for not having seen the rapid quality increase at that point yet. It will probably be indistinguishable from real stuff in 5 more years. I'm scared.
