AI is a model accessible via an API. It’s a tool. If you run a model on a local GPU in a humanoid robot it’s still a model copied to a local HDD. It’s not a person. Just like VCRs if you tamper with the model you void the warranty with the warranty being legal responsibility on behalf of the owner of the robot. The corporation or person who trained the model and released the model is responsible. They don’t need personhood. I’m not going to sue a robot. I’m going to sue the person responsible for
