There is the other part of the equation: who will buy the products that AI and robotics are producing if there is mass unemployment and no one has money to spend on these products? The current market for goods will tank. If these corporations are expecting current volumes of sold goods to be the same when the market for those goods is not robots with no money, but humans with money. Humans get money from jobs. They're not thinking of that. They're thinking of the initial windfall during the transiton to full automation, NOT the future implications of AI.
