I got yelled at a few months ago on a webnovel discord for getting upset with an AI 'artist' in the #fanart channel that was literally just putting in the name of locations and events from the book and then posting what was generated without even using the author's description of the places or events. Like one was called the 'Crimson Colosseum' described as a massive runic circle from a past civilization on another world that has been repurposed into almost a labyrinth of fighting circles connected like a tournament bracket where the final is in the center circle. The main character later finds out that the blood of the hundreds of gladiators is feeding the runic circle it was all built upon to warp the minds of the spectators. The AI 'artist' posted several images of the literal Roman Colosseum painted red.... But how dare I ask that they at least try to follow the descriptions from the story. My main argument was that our fanart influences how others will picture the story when they read it and possibly make adaptions of it in the future into comics and possibly television and we should be mindful to be faithful to the author. A single AI 'artist' flooding the fanart page 20 to 1 compared to people actually drawing their concepts completely hides real artists and colors perspectives of new fan artists even subconsciously... Sorry I went on a rant in the first minute of your video... Back to watching the rest of your video. Keep up the great work.
