Wait so was OOP just pro AI who used it for things that they were clearly labeling as AI when selling them? Also, did OOP ever make non-AI art? If so, could this piece actually have been made by them, or are we sure this was definitely AI art? Did OOP even care if artists ratio them, or were they aiming for a different demographic in the first place? I say different demographics because AI art has its own market. People are not going to pay nearly as much for an AI image as they are for someone's hand-drawn work. This is because they know they can hop online and generate something similar to that online if they don't want to pay for that AI artwork. However, especially with smaller artist creators who the AI models have not trained a lot on (not saying it is ok in any manner to train on art without the artists' permission) have their own style that is unique to them, and when you know it has come from a real person you know there was thought and effort put into it, it makes the art have more life to it (sentimentally at least), and a sort of finality that only comes from actual commissioned work. Which you don't get that feeling when you can generate hundreds of very slightly different versions at the click of a button, because at that point you are just scrolling through a catalog and it is hard to feel attached to one when you have a bunch of similar options.
