How about instead of just doing a universal income we go back to regulating employers and corporations in ways that protect employees and regulate the use of AI for business purposes in certain industries. We can fix the job market and most of our financial issues. We just repeatedly get fooled into giving these huge employers/corporations more power instead of doing what promotes the wellbeing of our majority.
