Well if you fricken idiots wouldn't drive at 70-80 mph all the time, maybe this wouldn't happen. Always in a big hurry to go nowhere.
I would take it out of so called "auto pilot" long before it even comes up to any vehicle. I don't trust these automated systems as far as I could throw the vehicle - if I crash into someone or something I want it to be under my full control and AP turned off.
People get too lax on relying on this Auto Pilot that they lose their sense of stopping in time or think no problem, the vehicle will stop - this video proves that.
Also if someone is coming up behind me with AP on, I would turn it off so I don't get rear ended by this so called "Phantom Braking". If it is going to do this I want no one around behind me.
So called Auto Pilot has a long way to go before it is even deemed trustworthy. Don' trust it my friends. You see what happened in this video to innocent bikers.
