So, theoretically, if someone wants to make the best AI in the world in the future they might use AI itself to program the better version of themselves since AI is going to be the best at doing it. If such a thing were to happen the AI programmer might not use the safe guards we put in place currently and eventually become the SkyNet of our time? Seems like a proper end, we innovate ourselves to extinction.
