I am a fan of this video. Let me be perfectly clear, I have used a text to image generator, mostly because I couldn’t find an artist to work alongside.
I am a writer, I started sharing some of my work on youtube about a year ago. (Not Successfully) I might add, but that’s neither here nor there.
What I wanted to contribute to this discussion, is that my attempted use of text to image apps was basically the only option I had for images, other then taking photos and editing them myself.
I reached out a lot to others in hopes of creating a partnership with an artist interested in what I was doing.
Never once did I get a single reply. Eventually using AI became an ethically acceptable fall back. I never realized that my adoption of AI would black list me forever from being successful.
