If someone ever thinks that a simple algorithm has better decision making and motor skills than a human brain, then I don't think their brain is big enough to have an opinion. Using autopilot, aka taking your hand off the wheel in the middle of traffic, is felony reckless driving as far as I can tell. Why are we pretending like there's any nuance to this. All that money and hype for a feature that's predictably illegal to use on a road with other people on it. If I see a Tesla, I'm merging ahead and slamming breaks.
