Ok, i agree with everything you said EXCEPT what if the reference picture you're looking for doesn't exist no matter how hard you look and you're just loosely basing it off? Like i wanted to look up a picture of 2 people running from a herd of wildebeest and none of the reference pictures online are anywhere close to what I needed. The ai one i used was ok-ish enough to work, and i used ACTUAL pictures of wildebeest and ACTUAL art of people running to draw it as well. Is this still unacceptable?
