Ai is setup to crush this monetary system and usher in the new digital system. Further it's true use after that is real time surveillance and compliance drone control.
You might not believe it, but there are at least 2 drones for every citizen in western civ. Take the book a scanner darkly, and instead of a human monitoring the scanners it's ai and doing it all in real time for everyone. One drone is surveillance and the other is "compliance" meaning when you are found "wanting" you get a 100mph+ drone with a 45cal bullet in it that is sent to make you "comply". Remember, every corpse is considered compliant.
They not only don't need you, in fact your expectations are WAY too high, which is why you are being invaded by brown slaves.
