Those in the know have been saying this for over a year now, but politicians have their heads in the sand. It's not totally their fault, Silicon Valley is well known for their unrealistic hype cycle. Like the boy that cried wolf, we're going to be the victims of their prior deception. As someone that has worked deeply with AI for a long time, I agree with Dario. Mass job loss is definitely going to happen, we're already seeing it starting this year. Developers, marketers, and other white collar workers are being laid off by the thousands.
