This all hinges on how conventualy human people are. There are brutally emotionless people out there. I personally prefer the the AI version of princess Mononoke my eyes get lost in the fur and the pose is dynamic she is on all fours telling the viewer about her animalistic side that I don't get from the original comparison image that they chose. BUT we are comparing a still stand-alone image to a frame of animation that was made to be viewed for only 1 second so it's unfair I do think Ghibli can draw a more detailed image if they did a modern movie poster for example. I do think the default AI waxy style is generic like in the female warrior example in the video. I think AI and human art can co-exist it's hard for AI to create something completely new and to have emotional consistency like the sun project's art.
