There's only one reason Shad and the rest of AI bros try to justify it as a legitimate tool: it makes them feel talented without putting any effort in. I watched his videos like 5-10 years ago when he was just "Shad" and I remember being supremely irritated by the fact that his idea of humor was just shouting in the middle of his videos. This is a man very self conscious about the fact that he has extremely limited talent and that the medieval content cow had run dry. He's a pathetic, jealous little asshole who is desperate for anything that will keep being the center of attention, and imo, this extends to like, 90% of anyone who tries to legitimate AI from writing to coding to pictures to music: it's cheap, it's shit, it's soulless, but it's easy and gives them a false sense of ownership; just like starting yelling in the middle of videos, or jumping into the anti-woke bandwagon to call art "shit" without having to elaborate anything more complex than "it's woke and therefore bad".
