It's so ridiculous how silly these luddites are with ai art.
Its exactly like taking photos. Anyone with a camera can create photos that are way more realistic than any one could paint and draw before photos.
But it is a art form because people can take better or worse photos that achieve different goals with talent and skill.
Its the same with ai art. Anyone can make ai art that anyone else can make but the people skilled at it make thigns better than anyone else with a talent for the prompting and a vision of what needs to be made.
I've tried making ai art with gen ai and I suck at it. Yeah even my stuff looks OK in the same way most of the photos I take with my phone of objects look like the object I took a photo of.
These anti ai people just rely on mass rage and insults.
They will all lose and will just be another story of luddites fighting change to no success.
I'm happy about the copy right stuff because copy right sucks as we on the left used to think and it is wild how many of these luddites suddenly care about intellectual property even though I'll bet they used bittorrent, bought games off of g2a which is worse than stealing or use ad blockers.
