Although his concerns are valid and what he said is correct to some extent, I think we need to look into the brighter side of this AI evolution. People will lose jobs in fast food and all, but there will be new opportunities for humans to engage in. For instance, self-driving semis need preventive maintenance and repairs and some form of human intervention to function. Every aspect of AI will need some form of human intervention, and those are totally different skill sets than what we have now. I think it’s high time for people to realize that change is the only constant and humanity needs an evolving mindset to not go extinct.
