I was watching Steven's reactions during the interview and he sure showed signs of depression! Modern humans (Homo Sapiens) have been around for about 300,000 years. Let's see what happens as there is no point in trying to stop AI as there was no point in trying to stop Nuclear science progression. Maybe it will free us up to really enjoy life and do a bit of caretaking of the natural world which badly needs a helping hand at the moment. Steven can spend more time with his French Bulldog and maybe even learn how to enjoy the simple life from his dog. My dog, Misty, a Westie, is having a snooze on the sofa beside me as I write. I'm sure she has much to teach me.
