The chess analogy is good because it shows that even though ai dominates humans with perfect play we still prefer to watch two humans battle it out. It will be the same with all creative and competitive endeavours. AI will just take all the monotonous, unsafe jobs that are a drain on us. AGI will set us free like all technological advances has done in the past. Yes there will be some negatives that come from it, like bad actors using it to further a ill agenda, but overall it will be the best thing thats ever happened to the human race. Don't let doomers trick you into thinking anything else.
