This doesn't work. CLIP filters out small artefacts like Nightshade is smearing across the image. That just makes it pointless off-the-bat. Even if making your image uglier did have an effect, it's not magically changing the concept of a dog into the concept of a cat like the paper suggests. Models don't work this way. This is a grift.
Not to mention that data and concepts in high quality models are hand tuned. If bad data does get introduced, the person training the model just...deletes it 😮
And it's not just that "detectors might mistake your art as AI" - it's not making a mistake. You're feeding your drawing into the Nightshade AI model as an input, and it's giving you an AI-generated output. Guess how that model was trained.
