I think this is a reasonable fear to have, but also it is rather unlikely that AI instantly becomes malicious and kills us all. Why don’t we think the same of every newborn baby? Why can‘t they suddenly invent something like nuclear weapons (which we as humans invented) and kill us all? Possible, but very unlikely. The same holds true for AI in my humble opinion.
