I think you grossly overgeneralize, assuming that if somebody use AI for one thing they will use it for everything. I'm writing, so I have not time and energy learn to draw adequatedly so I can make an illustration for my characters, but I managed to bring them to life with SD and even train a pretty good LORA about one. Also you are wrong in that AI can't generate new things, it learns concepts, so you can mix them together in a combination or composition never seen before.
I don't think using artist name as promt is cool though, or care about this poisining thing, I usually use models which are trained on good quality AI images in the first palce.
