Maybe not the best place to do it, but I do fall more on the idea that AI “art” falls into a new category of art. It isn’t like drawing, writing, or even photograph, but it is creating (ugly) pieces of different text and images that if used with a real vision could great some really cool stuff.
I don’t know how to call it, yet, and most AI bros don’t have even an inch of the vision or effort to pull it off, but I believe that would the conclusion. I also believe that new thing will go back to be “too hard to learn” and this cycle will repeat.
Thanks for the arguments too. I had been trying to find better ways to put in my feelings with AI and how "is the future of art". Specially when these arguments come from people that I'm friends with.
