20+ year dev here. My company mandated that anyone who does not show they're replacing their labor with AI will be not receive a satisfactory annual review. Basically, "Replace yourself, or you'll be leaving." It's been a disaster. As far as I'm concerned, every suit who chose this deserves the destruction they've brought on themselves. The roof is on fire. We don't need no water. Let the mf burn.
