I do feel very bad for artists in many fields, especially ones that are doing it to make money. AI is decimating those fields and the truth is that there are now open source models that people can run locally that are faster than online AI and free. I got a Mac M5 and got the courage to install an AI that does text, images and audio that took 20 seconds to create 4 different corporate logos that were better than what I see online. Definitely better than what I got 20 years ago on Fiverr. It seems at least to me that just like fiverr and its $250 cost destroyed the $5-10K market for similar work, AI is destroying the $50/hr market (and above).
