I think it’s time that something was said against this. Artist are NOT BORN with the ability to draw- (I know shocker) it’s like riding a bike or driving, or LITERALLY everything else, you have to harbor the ability and practice, and go through the motions of “I’m not good enough” or “this doesn’t look right” to get better. I think it is lovely people want to express themselves and are finding means in AI but to credit yourself for it is where it becomes wrong, it is truly another medium and let’s be honest not as accepted, no judgement to anyone who does stuff with AI at all but you think it’s hurtful to you when people express how demeaning it is they put forth the effort in their career and some don’t even have a real artistic drive and still are liked more for something they didn’t make. It isn’t blue blood it’s just a lot of each others and really I think in a few years another community will have their own discussion like this, that is truly how the internet works. Everyone is beautiful and all talents should be accepted not mocked or demeaned. If you cannot express physically artistic skill then you should try commissioners to help make what you want and to help put forth more heart than a computer can. Sorry for the yap but I’ve seen to much and stayed silent for so long. Edit- I didn’t even mention the AI uses art people posts- so technically I’m quite sure it’s considered stealing and no one likes their things stolen.
