I learned that the upcoming movie "Primitive War" had AI used in their concept art posted to their PATREON. My sister (a big fan of the book and looking forward to the movie) tried to tell me that it was all okay since it was just concept art for personal reference. I mentioned that it was on their PATREON which you have to PAY MONEY TO SEE. I just started agreeing with her to shut her up. She claims to be anti-ai and for the most part she kinda is, but even for a reference its NOT GOOD. I sent her a link to this video and I know she'll start in on me (we're both very very stubborn, it's a family trait). I still refuse to support it. AI in anyway is BAD. The one and ONLY positive way I can see it used: Is seeing just how horrendous the art gets. I liken AI to learning from itself and other AI's as "AI incest"... the results will let the worse come to light. There's also an artist I would see on DeviantArt who has an AI she uses once in a while, but it's trained off of her OWN ART. She retrains it each time she wants to use it and only she can use it. If the design is AI generated she makes sure everyone is aware of it. I think she even cleans it up a bit. I see this as being a bit more honest in use, but so far she's the only one I know of who uses it like that.
