Label it "Driver Assistance" and make sure the driver retains legal responsibility for driving of the vehicle. Perhaps some low power vehicle location identifier, such as the location devices put in skiing jackets, could provide a failsafe for vehicle locations when automated driving features are being used. A cheap receiver would easily pick this up as range closes.
