The idea that everyone will suddenly be out of work if ai fails is idiotic. We went 10,000 years without it just fine. It hasn’t become the single linchpin of society in less than 5. If your job would fail with the absence of ai, and you’re not in the scientific field, i say that’s fine. Ai should be used for data analysis and equations that would take humans thousands of years to solve, nothing more, it shouldn’t surf the internet for you. It shouldn’t track your face and location. It shouldn’t be integrated into every aspect of daily life. If you need ai to tell you when the food in your fridge goes bad, instead of, idk, looking at it and smelling it, i have no sympathy for you. Some people really want to use ai as a scapegoat. It’s not. Ai being used the way it is, is a symptom of the broken system, not the cause.
