I’ve never really considered myself an artist, I’ve done art since I was eight, I’ve been in the “art kid” sort of group in school (in our school there was six of us and they literally made us do everything. It was so funny) and I now do art as a class in my current school, but I’ve always had friends that were more talented than me which made me feel that my h Art wasn’t good enough, (I NEVER used AI or anything. I just didn’t do much art in my free time) but after watching this and your other video about AI, (+ downloading Tumblr) I felt more empowered to actually start doing art just for me, not because my art teacher told me to, not because I had an assignment due, not because my friend asked me to draw something for them, because I wanted to. I realised I was never going to get better if I didn’t try, and everyone has that weird art stage, where their art looks a bit like it’s been microwaved, and even though I’m never going to be as good as my friend, and even though the prospects for a future in arts seem non-existent because of AI, I’m gonna keep going, and I’m going to keep doing art just for myself, and maybe one day I’ll get good enough to be happy with it, and enjoy the finished piece, not just the time spent doing it :3 (I obviously would like to always enjoy the time spent doing it because that is the part of art that matters the most)
