Its a stupid argument, because digital art uses the same tools (different brushes, pencils, etc.) that you would use in physical art, along with tools that help you finish pieces more quickly (like the fill tool, which you can't really use in physical art, but you yourself are still doing it, its not just some automatic process that happens).
Arguing that AI is an "art tool" is illogical, a tool helps you create something, pencils for sketching, brushes/markers/paint for coloring in and shading, etc. AI just makes it for you, you don't do anything other than write a prompt.
