To the general public, its not about quality, uniqueness, soul, we've all seen the slop they consume... it all originates from internet drama about ai art stealing art to do its training, artists got angry etc, and so like chimps the general public started parroting the drama until eventually they forgot why they're doing it, they just know ai is bad and lazy. But they're hypocrites who cannot think, let the drama control what they think, because they're not hiring a translator, they go to google translate, they dont hire a photo editor, they click on the enhance and remove people button, they dont hire a web developer, they let an ai generate a generic webpage, they dont pay a taxi, they want driverless ubers, they dont want a deliveryman, they want a deliveryrobot, they dont want a cashier, they want autocheckout.
When you could have it done with ai, why hire a translator? why hire a mathematician? a free ai health consultation? psychologist? a tutor? ... an artist...?
Maybe they would stop going to the doctor if they knew medicine is built upon murders, inhumane experiments, and war crimes, just maybe.
