I find it so stupid that AI users think artists aren’t ok with someone else making art in their style and so using their style in AI is a good way to get back at artists. The issue is the theft of the art itself that is the problem. Not the style. My art style is the amalgamation of all of the creators I was inspired by. I even started putting eye shines in different shapes because Lavendertowne has irises that are different shapes but when I did it in my style I didn’t like it. Art is about inspiration, not theft. Inspiration is incredible and beautiful. But generative AI can never be inspired.
