Once you understand the AI you know what it's good and bad at... as a programmer, it's great for writing code I've written a million times... it saves me time to not have to do it again and, instead of writing it again, I just have to quickly read it and go "ye, that's the stuff"...
It's bad at highly specific tasks or big tasks tho...
So it's kinda like a personal assistant for things you already know... questions like, as pointed out, "that word I can't remember"... or yesterday I asked it about a youtuber I watched 15ish years ago but couldn't remember the name of... that would have taken me prolly hours to google and find...
