Alright here we go.. 1. What does every human concept artist on the planet have? Thats right, a visual library. A hard drive filled with terrabytes of images, downloaded from all over the internet, from every possible source, from disney to ghibli to unknown comic artists youll never hear of to architecture to vehicles and everything in between. They train their brain on those references just like AI does, and they output something that is a combination of all their references put together, to become something new. How is that any different to what AI does aside from AI being able to do it at a much more rapid and efficient rate? 2. What about artists with aphantasia? They can have an idea and concept for a painting in their head but they cant "see" it in their mind. They can iterate on paper for 4 months to figure it out and settle on a final composition that still probably isnt as close to the concept in their head as they would like, or, they can use AI to give them 1000 iterations in a day, then iterate on that 1000 the next day, and a week later they have 7000 drawings whittled down to 2 or 3, that they didnt need to waste 4 months of their life on just so they can get a reference and baseline to use for a painting they want to do. The final image will be their creation on a canvas, it was their idea, it was their compositons, values, tones, techniques used to paint it, but they used AI so that the underlying sketch only took them a week to figure out and not months.
