They can't fix hallucinations by patching LLMs or putting more power into training it. It's an inherent feature of a large language model. All the model is doing is guessing the next word based on context, there is 0 understanding of the actual meaning of the content. All you get by throwing a hundred extra billions is a more efficient parrot. Making shareholders believe more cash thrown at LLMs will lead to a super intelligence is the biggest scam of the last few decades.
