It would've been better when the Dutch comments in this video were shown in English subtitles, for it is valuable information for all global citizens to take notice of.
Recently I've watched a video, where Chinese citizens were interviewed, giving their opinion about the social credits system, the Chinese surveillance system by means of facial recognition, the use of smartphones, street cameras and microphones in streetlights, recording conversations of passers-by. The latter has led to protests in the Hong Kong streets.
One of the interviewed people's responses was "I feel safe and protected". Please, read the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. That story shows exactly how persuasion and coercion are used to program listeners, making them believe that they're served, protected. For those who've lost their sense of autonomy, who grew up in ignorance, allowing an external authority to dictate their sense of identity as a substitute. For those, there's safety in numbers=slavery.
