AI can't be an artist cause art is a process of doing that can only be done through translation of image through matter and subjective consciousness.
the dumb NAI bots we have do not have any subjective consciousness in them and cannot perform the processes required to make a piece of art from scratch the same way as its not conscious of even the emotions required to understand what its looking at.
"but it can describe the piece perfectly!" but so can I, I can describe an image like a description on Imgur like anyone else, but that doesn't mean I outright understand what I'm looking at or describing. that's the NAI we have. its a comatose dead brain in a petri dish dreaming up nightmare versions of works under copyright under the command of tech bro phonies. its a cyberpunk hell-scenario that only chodes would ask for.
