I just heard an AI weenie say the sentence which will go down in history as our greatest dilusion that caused the ,AI bubble to burst:
' the human brain is a computer, and the computer is a human brain"
Ahhh, no, it's not. The human brain is not a computer. Our understanding of the human brain is a drop in the ocean. God created the human brain, he's not telling you how he did it, and he is pissed.
The computer isn't any closer to being a human brain than a kumquat. We know in intricate detail exactly how the computer works, we improve it every year, because our human brain created the computer. We are God to the computer, and some of us are pissed.
The brain created the computer. A computer will never create a brain. Don't you people get that? A human brain is so different from a computer it took an ocean of time, 50 years, and the most impossibly complex software with linear algebra, calculus, statistics for a computer to mimic even the smallest function you think the human brain does. It was a waste of time. An academic exercise. The wrong approach to the AI goal.
You assholes better abandon this neural network boondoggle, put your time and energy into the companies who developed AI not based on neural networks, before you ruin my country
