'driverless' trucking or any driverless vehicles all depend on satellite GPS to guide the vehicles through the streets and to avoid other vehicles...so, what happens when the GPS fails ....think it can't happen...nothing is perfect....computer systems are constantly failing in companies that depend them to keep everything operational....people can't do their work without the computer system up and running...the same can and has happened where GPS has glitched...then, what happens with all these vehicles that depend on these GPS satellites to guide them on the roadways...how many deaths or accidents are acceptable when these GPS systems fail....even for a second?.....are insurance companies going to want to insure these driverless vehicles?...as itis they don't want to insure houses in fire areas, now....I doubt they will want to take a chance on driverless vehicles that can cause major damage or death within a second of loss control.....and the government is allowing this to take place even though accidents while testing these vehicles have already taken place...just to save paying a driver....now, they can pay the law suites that will come
