Tldr: the reason AI couldn't do it is because the guy who prompted it didn't have beef with the subjects.
In other words: soon-to-be former-artists are now lowered to arguing "it's what WASN'T in the painting that what makes it great"
AI guy forgot to add "make them slightly unappealing", that's what makes art greater.
Good. Good for all of you. Bit of the human experience will do your art some good.
