Folks don't realize Google and Waymo has been experimenting with self driving cars long before Tesla began doing it They started right waaaaay back in 2009 and started the whole thing with Robotaxis and even Self driving Semis and they are still testing it (They are at Level 4 automation). as of right now 16 Teslas using FSA where involved in crashes since 2017 since 2012 there has been 23 crashes involving Waymo and google self driving cars
