I've been an artist for 6 years and I support AI art actually. It's just a new medium really, and it's group of people will find it. This same controversy surrounds digital art. So many people just think it's fake or too easy, when really it's very challenging and you're faced with a whole new set of tools and skills. With many of the examples you can see AI art is very flawed, it isn't good at making human or animal features, like facial or bone structure, correctly. This would then lead the artist to use some sort of other digital medium where they are actually drawing to make it look better. It would implement their style and own work into something that was AI generated, something they had the idea of creating in the first place. Though I myself probably wouldnt use AI for art, I support people who do because it's a medium they like and that makes them happy. Just like how I support people who use pastels or oil paints; I don't use those mediums, but I'm not against them and I don't hate them. They just aren't for me and that's okay
