I have learned a few languages at a surface level from teaching myself and a bit of formal learning. I will use copilot to provide a general idea of how to do something and then refer to documentation to actually learn what the code I am writing is doing. It can be a great tool to learn but can hurt your ability to learn if your not activaly developimg an understanding of the code your writing.
